I have been around a long time and seen many Doctors. Doctors like Dr. Yalvac are rare, I can only say that about 3 doctors in my 74 yrs. We all know he is a great doctor but he is also an extraordinary human as well. I am so fortunate to have him as my doctor.

My heart was in constant flutter. The doctor scheduled me for a medical procedure the next morning before he left on vacation. It was imperative to have it done asap and he made it happen. Dr. Yalvac did an awesome job. He shocked my heart back into my regular heart beat. He is a fantastic and compassionate physician.

I'm nearly 79 and had one child at age 19, when I knew everything or thought I did. This is an inherintly dumb question above, medical procedures are NEVER a good experience, so I'll just check okay, even though it's the pits. How could I possibly say, well, I had a good time, it was such a great experience, can't wait to do it again 3 more times? I can't even ask why did this happen to me? There were many good things I inherited from my mother and my grandmother (generous boobs, hour glass figure) before her. Unfortunately, I also inherited varicose veins from them. In a quest to get rid of the problem, I had "vein stripping" about 40 years ago, when I was in my late 30's. Since that time, the medical profession has evidently now determined that was not a good idea, so Dr. Yalvac comes along after the fact and is expected to fix the problem. It's an operation on my leg veins, where a needle is inserted into the vein. I'm somewhat awake during the procedure, but not exactly sure what's going on as I cannot see what's happening but Dr. Yalvac monitors a screen I can't really see as he guides the needle through the leg veins. But it obviously requires a steady hand as its somewhat intricate. I would describe it as somewhat painful, but not excruciatingly so. I am now on #4 of six procedures. Post op, I must wear very tight stockings (would have been good not to have this dropped on me unexpectedly, to know this ahead of time, so I could Amazon them, duh) and can't shower for two days (!), so how could I possibly say it's a "good experience" when inherently it's not, it's the pits. But in a quest for solving problems, one must obviously put up with some discomfort. I can't blame my doctor for defects I acquired by birth. The whole question regarding my experience here is somewhat ridiculous as it's NEVER going to be anything other than miserable. But that doesn't IN ANY WAY make it the doctor's fault that I was Born This Way.
